Originally erected in the 12th Century, the Rosenburg was transformed into a truly magnificent Renaissance castle during the 16th Century.

Not only is the outside of the Rosenberg impressive – inside you can enjoy quality furnishings, pictures and works of art; the Marble Hall, the library and the palace chapel are the most beautiful rooms of the Rosenburg and convey something of the uniqueness of this castle.

But not only the castle itself and its premises are worth a visit – a unique and unforgettable experience every day at 11:00 and 15:00 you are held free-flight demonstrations of the Renaissance Falcon Court Rosenburg. In addition to eagles, falcons and owls also show giants like the rare giant eagles or vultures with wing spans of up to 3 metres off their skills.

Disengagement and relax invites the castle and the castle tavern shop you will find everything you would like to take home from a visit to Roseburg.

March, April and October daily except Mondays, 9:30 to 16:30.
May to September daily, 9:30 to 17:00 (until 18:00 on Saturdays in July and August)

Guided tours of the castle (approx. 1 hour)
1 hour, and after the hour of the flight demonstrations

Flight demonstrations (approximately 30 to 40 min)
daily at 11:00 and 15:00 (July & August Saturday additionally at 16:30)
